Aetherium Mobile privacy policy
Version 1.0.0, October 2026.
In short
- Aetherium Mobile has no analytics, no ads of its own, no crash reporting and no tracking SDKs.
- What you browse stays on your phone unless you turn on Aetherium Sync.
- Sync data is encrypted on the phone before it is sent, with a key made from a passphrase only you know.
- Aetherium Sync, VaultPass, the agent and the link to your computer send nothing until you set them up.
Who we are
Aetherium Mobile is published by John Bryan Logdonio ("we"), in the Philippines. Contact: support@listgoph.com. The app is the phone companion of the Aetherium desktop browser. On the App Store it is listed as Aetherium Browser.
What stays on your phone
The app keeps these in its own private storage. Other apps cannot read them.
- Open tabs (address, title, site icon address) and small pictures of tabs for the tab switcher. Private and Guest tabs are never saved.
- Bookmarks, history (the latest 5000 pages), New Tab shortcuts and the downloads list.
- Settings: style, light or dark, search engine, New Tab background, reader view choices, agent settings.
- Site settings: your camera, microphone, location, pop-up, JavaScript, ad and text size choices for each site.
- Profiles: names, colours and pictures.
- Your own New Tab photo, if you choose one (a copy is made in the app's folder).
- Cookies, cached files and site storage, kept by the system WebView as in any browser. On Android the WebView has one cookie jar and one site storage for the whole app: private tabs, Guest and every profile share it with normal tabs (private and Guest tabs use no cache and no third-party cookies). On iOS, private and Guest tabs use their own store, which is not kept.
Secrets are kept in the system's secure storage (Android Keystore backed storage, the iOS Keychain): the Aetherium Sync sign-in token and sync key, VaultPass unlock data when you turn on fingerprint or face unlock, AI service keys you enter, and the token for your computer. Passwords and passphrases you type are never saved.
Files you download go to the app's Downloads folder. Screenshots you take go to Pictures/Aetherium on Android 10 and later (and to the Downloads list), except in private tabs and Guest, where they stay inside the app.
You can delete this data at any time with Settings > Clear browsing data, by removing a profile, or by uninstalling the app.
Backups: on Android the app turns system backup off, so its data is not copied to Google Drive or to another phone. On iOS, the app's files can be part of your iCloud or computer backup, like other apps' files.
What is sent, and where
Nothing below happens unless you use the feature.
Websites you visit
Like any browser, the app connects to the sites you open and sends them what browsers send: your IP address, the page address, cookies for that site, and a standard WebView user agent. Site icons are loaded from the sites themselves. When you type words in the address bar, they go to the search engine you chose (Google, DuckDuckGo or Bing). Address bar suggestions come only from your own bookmarks and history on the phone; nothing is sent while you type.
Safe Browsing (Android and iOS)
The app keeps the system WebView's built-in protection against harmful sites on (Google Safe Browsing on Android, fraudulent website warnings on iOS). The operating system checks the addresses you visit against these lists, as the system browsers do.
The app also asks Android not to send WebView usage metrics, whatever your phone's usage and diagnostics setting is.
Ad and tracker blocking
The block list is built into the app. Pages are checked against it on the phone; nothing about your browsing is sent anywhere for this.
Aetherium Sync (optional)
If you sign in to Aetherium Sync (sync.listgoph.com):
- At sign-in the app sends your ListGoMail address, your mailbox password (used once to sign in, never stored) and a device name (your phone's model, which you can change).
- After that it sends and receives your bookmarks, history, open tabs, a few settings and New Tab shortcuts. Each item is encrypted on the phone with AES-256-GCM before it is sent, with keys that come from your sync passphrase. The server stores only encrypted items, your sync key wrapped with your passphrase, and what it needs to run the service: your email address, your devices, the times items were changed and their sizes. It cannot read your items.
- Private tabs, Guest, reader view, site settings, downloads and VaultPass are never synced.
- You can delete your Aetherium Sync account from the app at any time: Settings > Aetherium Sync > Delete Sync account. This deletes, on the server, the account, its keys, every synced item and every signed-in device. Signing out alone does not delete anything on the server.
VaultPass (optional)
If you unlock VaultPass (vaultpass.listgoph.com), the app sends your email address, an authentication hash made on the phone from your master password (never the password itself) and, if you use one, your two-step code. It downloads your encrypted vault and decrypts it on the phone. VaultPass on the phone is read-only: it never uploads logins. Copied passwords are cleared from the clipboard after a minute.
The agent (optional)
If you use the agent, the app sends your request and what the agent needs to do the task to the AI service you picked. Before the first task with each service, the app tells you which service will get this data and asks for your permission; nothing is sent if you say no. An AI on your own network is not asked about, since the data stays on your network.
-
Claude (api.anthropic.com), with your own API key: your messages, the text and element list of the page the agent is working on, screenshots of that page, and the titles and addresses of your tabs when it lists them.
-
Or an AI service you set up yourself: a model on your own network (such as Ollama), or an OpenAI-compatible service (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq or DeepSeek). The same kind of data goes to the address you enter.
-
Or Claude Code on your own PC ("Use my PC's Claude Code"): the same kind of data goes from the phone to desktop Aetherium on your PC, and Claude Code there sends it to Anthropic under the Claude account it is signed in with. The phone never gets that sign-in. At home it goes straight to the PC over your network. Away from home it goes through the Aetherium Sync server your PC is signed in to, end-to-end encrypted with a key only your phone and your PC have: the server passes the messages on but cannot read them.
In the agent's Private mode, only an AI on your own network is allowed (Claude Code on your PC is turned off too, because it sends pages to Anthropic). What those services do with the data is set by their own privacy policies. Agent chats are not saved by the app.
Your computer (optional)
If you pair the app with desktop Aetherium on your own network, the app talks directly to your computer with the token you paste in. It can list and open tabs there, read the current page and run agent tasks. This traffic stays on your network unless you point it at an address outside it. If a PC offers "Use my PC's Claude Code", its address and a phone-only token reach the phone end-to-end encrypted through Aetherium Sync, or in a pairing code you paste; the token is kept in secure storage and only sent to that PC.
Camera, microphone, location and photos
- The camera is used for the QR code scanner. Pictures are read on the phone and not saved or sent.
- Websites can use the camera, microphone or location only after you allow it for that site.
- Photos you pick are uploaded only to the website that asked, or kept as your New Tab background.
- Fingerprint or face unlock for VaultPass is checked by the operating system. The app never sees your fingerprint or face.
Deleting your data
- Data on your phone: Settings > Clear browsing data, removing a profile, or uninstalling the app.
- Aetherium Sync: Settings > Aetherium Sync > Delete Sync account deletes the account and everything stored for it on the sync server, straight away. You can also write to support@listgoph.com.
- VaultPass and your ListGoMail mailbox are separate accounts that the app does not create. Manage or delete them at vaultpass.listgoph.com and in ListGoMail, or write to support@listgoph.com.
- Agent services and your PC: chats are not saved by the app. What an AI service keeps is set by that service.
Children
The app is a general web browser and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version ships with the app (Settings > About > Privacy policy) and is posted at https://aetherium.listgoph.com/privacy.
