A quick tour

  1. Open a tab with Ctrl+T or the + next to your tabs. The new tab page shows a search box, a box for the agent and your shortcut tiles.
  2. Search or go to a site: click the search box, type, and press Enter.
  3. Ask the agent to do something on a page, for example “find the cheapest option here”. The first time, it asks you to choose how it runs; see AI agent.
  4. Pick your look: click your profile picture and choose a colour, Dark mode (System, Light, Dark or Night) and a Style such as Neon or Classic.
  5. Bring your old browser over: ⋮ › Import from another browser... (see Import).
  6. Turn on Sync to get your tabs and bookmarks on your other computers (see Aetherium Sync).

When Aetherium starts

  • By default your previous tabs are moved to a background task and you start with a fresh one. Press Ctrl+Shift+E to see your tasks. You can change this in Preferences under When Aetherium starts.
  • A short piece of music, “Beyond the Map Edge”, plays once as Aetherium opens. Turn it off or change its volume in Preferences: Play music when Aetherium starts.
Tip
Most things have a keyboard shortcut. Keep the shortcut list handy for your first week.
